Listed Cottage, Suffolk
IMG_9254-1.jpg

A  ‘70s extension renovated to better fit this XVII century listed cottage. The main goal was to create a modern look while preserving its original style and materials.

The final result consists of an open space where the kitchen and dining room coexist and complement each other. The use of a large window, spreads seamlessly the living space between the indoor and the outdoor.

A minimal look is achieved by replacing kitchen cupboards with a three meters long wooden shelf, illuminated with low consumption led lights.

The kitchen counter has been designed in a peninsula shape to allow who’s cooking to interact with guests or other family members. In the dining area, a large window has been created to brighten up the space as well as enjoying a beautiful traditional English garden.
